cheap and chique.

So, yesterday I went shopping, even though I only had about 10 euros left on my bankaccount. I found out I had 80 dollar cents left, so traded them in and got 50 cents in euros for them! Lucky me.

I actually went out to buy colourful winter tights, since I only have a purple plaid pair, and two black ones. I also have thinner tights of course, but hey, it's getting colder I said!
We took the boat to the city, which was a lot of fun. Here's my outfit for the day (it was about 17 degrees Celsius):

It's a gray shirt from Abercrombie&Fitch, a long purple vest from Ross, blue shorts with a bow/ribbon from Gap, black leggings from H&M, and my yellow shoes with little grey socks in it.
And I got this very cute bag from my mother, which is just big enough for your wallet, phone, keys and stuff like that:

And here's what I bought:

The purple tights are from Hema (kind of Dutch Sears) and the pink ones from the H&M. The dress is also from H&M, and here's the pattern up close:

Also, I made an account on ilikemystyle.net, where I post more outfits and less purchases and stuff like that. When I don't feel like showing my daily outfit or dressing up here, I post it there anyways, because it's easier.

Back to the cold days.

I've been a little uninspirational lately, because it's Amsterdam and it's fall. You can't really see the difference with that and winter. So yeah, it's pretty cold.

So what do you do? Either you get out your warm sweaters and layer up, or you just dress up inside. Well, I have no money at the moment to buy a trendy sweaterdress or a knitted vest or anything like it. I wore a purple woolen pull today with a yellow belt over it, and just regular (!) Levi's jeans with my yellow shoes and my little yellow bag (and I'll post my bag collection some other time). I felt like I was getting back to my trendfollowing period in stead of my lately trendsetting one. So I decided to dress up, although I was still cold. I could be getting sick or something O_O

I felt kinda "wicked witch" in these. And 'these' are: blue leggings from the Ross for about 5 dollars; legwarmers (or how do you call it?) from some kind of Dutch Sears, namely the Hema; blue glittery short socks I got from my mom and which I got in green too; black patent pumps from the un-Quicksilver Roxy (so it's a whole other store) for 15 euros.
I really want to wear it right now but since it's 10 degrees Celsius and under over here and I get cold really easily. What do you think?

Shoe collection.

Shoes are the main thing for me. They have to go with the rest of your oufit, and I also think shoes say in which mood you are. Now, I don't think they say who you are as a person. I've got about every thinkable shoestyle in my closet, but I'm not all that. So here's my shoe collection =)

These are my last purchase. I was looking for shoes like these for a while, when it turned out they had them at a cute little store next to the local market. In yellow!

These are the biggest trend in Holland right now. They're not pretty or anything, but they walk like heaven.. I don't really wear these anymore because they don't fit with anything.

These are my oldest sneakers, which I used to wear all the time (as you can see). But now that I've been different in style I don't really wear them..

And the white ones. I love these, but don't wear them often either.. Dunno why really. I still have to walk them in I think..

My favorite pair of Allstars. I usually wear them with something a little more chique and feminine, like my red skirt that I wear high-waist.

My newest Allstars, with the greatest inside! These fit really cute with a new dress I bought which is about the same colour.

Totally wornout =p but so cool. I love the way wornout shoes walk.

These I love! I've gotten the greates compliments about them ;) I wear them anytime possible, and they fit with a lot because they are so colourful.

These are a little too big, which is too bad because they are really cute. They're actually white-ish but there's black lace over it =)

I like these because they're not standard and they stand out. I think they could fit well with anything..

I bought these in Portugal and wore them the entire vacation =p aren't they handsome?

I took these with me this summer. They're cute, but not as great walking.

My first pair of heels. They were for the Christmas dinner, and I was in love with them. They just don't fit really well with stuff but they're so cute.

I wear these a lot! I wear them with stuff that's a little quirky or sporty, so that it isn't too chique.

I had to buy these for my dancing classes but never wear them for it. I'm not sure I could wear them on a normal day, what do you think?

Why not post these too? I wore them every single summer, until I bought these this vacation:

They were so cheap, and I needed them! I love them so much, too bad it's not summer anymore..
